Georgia First Generation Foundation is gearing up for its 5th Annual FirstGen Summit! This year we’ll have Ana Maria Villegas as the keynote speaker!
Ana Maria Villegas, a first-generation college graduate from Colombia, holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Georgia State University, where she was fully funded by merit scholarships. She's a dedicated advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and proudly represents Latinas in Business at one of the world's largest consulting firms. Ana passionately supports first-generation students by providing resources and mentoring to help them achieve their career goals. She serves as a board member for the Georgia First Generation Foundation and actively volunteers in DEI efforts. In her free time, Ana enjoys Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a martial art that challenges her both physically and mentally. Many describe her as reliable, ambitious, and joyful.
